We play both Western and traditional Hungarian and Romanian musical instruments, giving us a unique sound. In addition to public performances, we're available for weddings, private parties, festivals, and all festive occasions!
We're delighted to announce our upcoming performance at the Noe Valley Town Square, on Sunday, July 13th from 1 - 3 pm.
Noe Valley Town Square is an outdoor venue described as "a vibrant community space situated on the 24th Street commercial corridor". It's located at 3861 24th Street between Sanchez and Vicksburg Streets in San Francisco. There is FREE street parking on Sundays, and FREE admission to the Square.
We'll be playing a variety of traditional, folk and Roma (Gypsy) music (and even a modern song) from Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, and surrounding areas. Some of our music will be for listening, and some for dancing. There is room to dance, just make sure you wear appropriate dancing shoes for dancing on cement.
Attention Hungarian folk dancers--bring a partner for slow and fast csardas (and other dances too) in our Szatmari and Dunantuli suites. We'll also be playing a few popular Bulgarian dance tunes, as well as some wonderful waltzes and a polka! The park has tables and chairs, and you can purchase coffee and food at nearby restaurants and bring it with you to enjoy during our concert.
